Human Evolution... and into the future!
There have been many studies performed and documentations made on the science behind human evolution. Controversies arise between science and religion, and religious beliefs are sometimes cultivated by scientific work. The majority of scientists surveyed by a recent Scientific American study were also strong Christians, and they said that their work as scientists only helped to strengthen their beliefs as Christians. So yes, creationists and evolutionists can co-exist happily.
Recently we came across a more forward-looking website about human evolution, called "Human Evolution - The Terrestrial Extra Theory". This group's look into human evolution portrays a novel hypothesis on the next stage of human evolution. The belief is that "aliens" as the way we think of them today aren't really from outer space, but rather living on earth as a future species of humans. The reason that we see them occasionally is because they are traveling back into their past to study the history of the earth and its inhabitants.
Whether or not you buy into this theory, it is unique and thought-provoking. There are other theories out there as well - enough to satisfy almost everyone. What is your theory on evolution and the next major stage?
